James Bay is a large body of water located south of Hudson Bay. It borders both Ontario and Quebec and is a popular spot for canoeists, as hundreds of rivers flow directly into the bay. James Bay and its surrounding tributaries are also part of the James bay hydroelectric project, providing much of the energy for Quebec.
